"this jacket is lightweight but a great layer for insulation under your shell jacket like the Taku essential waterproof jacket."
"Best base layer I have ever owned"
"First off the quality is top notch, fit a bit weird. This jacket (loosely called a jacket) fits as a medium should however the arms are fitted and loose in the stomach area. I did expect a bit thicker “jacket” as this is extremely thin. So we will see how well it lasts but I am afraid to wear it during rescue ops and training. Does look sharp and in a see of brands, definitely sticks out. Just expected more of a jacket and not a DWR sweater. Not worth the price, this should be in the $200 mark maybe."
"Warmer than I expected! The fleece lining traps warmth in the core and the outer shell keeps the wind off."
"This jacket has become my go-to outer layer for almost all weather conditions. With the Polartec Alpha insulation, I expected it to be warm, but I'm amazed at how such a thin and lightweight jacket can provide exceptional warmth while remaining breathable - it truly is Mustang Survival magic! The high-quality construction, water resistance, comfortable fit, and practical features means it will absolutely be coming on all my adventures from now on. I get that this jacket is meant to be worn as a layering option, not necessarily as a standalone outer layer. So, if you're planning to use it as your main outerwear, you might want to think about going up a size for a better fit."
"Excellent weight, comfort. Best midweight I’ve ever owned."
"Best mid weight I’ve ever owned. Comfortable warm and breathable. Excellent for B.C.’s west coast."
"Excellent light weight jacket. Fits well under the Taku Elite Jacket (size M). Use for underlayer skiing and for warm up before and after tennis."
"The fit was great. I’m 6’1” and I ordered large. It’s a perfect layering jacket to go under the Taku rain gear."
