At Mustang Survival, we rely on industry partners like bluesign® to certify that manufacturers and chemical suppliers, from fibre to final raw materials, meet strict environmental and worker safety standards throughout the supply chain.
As an auditor, bluesign® assesses the raw materials, chemicals, and energy going in and the waste, water, and air emissions going out in a company's creation process and independently verifies that they meet the standards.
While their process audits the entire textile value chain, it focuses on sustainable chemistry and removes harmful chemicals before manufacturing begins.
For all new product developments in our recreational line at Mustang Survival, we require our design and materials teams to select and source only materials that are either bluesign® or Oeko-tex® approved. Our long-term goal is to have every product be bluesign® or Oeko-tex® certified.
